As a follow up to the previous post talking about our (re)branding process, we wanted to share with you some of the details of the new theme for our site, as well as a few configuration changes, and what we learned.

960 Grid-based Theme

In an earlier post, our theme lead Alberto talked a bit about CSS Frameworks, including the 960 Grid System, which is compatible with Drupal's Zen framework. Those are two of the main tools in his theming toolkit, so we made sure to get a theme designed that would comply with using the grid system. Alberto then took the layout CSS file from the 960 Framework and substituted that for the layout CSS file in Zen, but otherwise used all the other Zen files.

Affinity Bridge is proud to launch the initial iteration of the Ecolabelling.org redesign. A project of Big Room Inc., Ecolabelling.org is a directory of green product labels. The site aims to help both consumers and producers become familiarized with the various ecolabels in their regions, and connects consumers with green products that suit their needs.

It's been a busy month here at Affinity Bridge, and one of the things that kept us busy was completing the My Business 2010 site, which is a subsite of the Vancouver Economic Development Commission. My Business 2010 is a program set up by VEDC to help provide information for local businesses leading up to and during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

On the site you'll find, Resources, related News, and a Q&A section where you can submit questions to VEDC, which will be answered and posted on the site. You can also sign up to receive email notifications about new content posted, or subscribe to RSS feeds. Browse through the information posted by topic and by neighbourhood to find content that matters to you.
