The Affinity Bridge team were excellent to deal with from concept development to execution and maintenance of the project. They worked with us through each stage of the process, and delivered as promised – on time and on budget.

UBC's Sauder School of Business is internationally reputed as Canada's leading academic business school. With various MBA programs, and a focus on critical thinking and practical application, their faculty of leaders in business prepares students to excel in today's ever changing business environment.

The UBC Amazing Race was a student-led research project designed to measure people’s tendencies for procrastination. Designed along the lines of the popular TV reality show, the project ran teams of students through various time-sensitive tasks. Researchers needed a website that participants could access on their mobile phones as they completed their tasks. The site also had to enable researchers to gather and analyze data centrally in support of their research objectives.

We built a framework for the website that allowed students and teachers to set up multi-step tasks and track the responses. It used known user accounts for the teachers to minimize login steps (Active Directory) and included built-in reporting tools they could use to track the students’ progress.

The UBC Amazing Race website served as the critical infrastructure for the entire project, meeting all the user requirements of this research project, both participant and researcher.
