Web Programmer FT

Web programmer position Affinity Bridge has a full time position available for an experienced web programmer.

If you are the kind of person who gets things done, works autonomously and have a few years building web applications, this position is a good fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Development and configuration of web sites using the Drupal platform
• General Programming tasks as needed, ranging from data conversion to development of new drupal modules

Qualifications & Qualities:

• At least two years relevant work experience
• Experience with a content management system (CMS): drupal (the system we use), mambo, or joomla!
• Experience with open source web tools is a bonus
• Very strong knowledge of PHP
• Drupal themeing, you understand how to get the desired output using the drupal thme layer
• Proficient with HTML and CSS, comfortable converting graphic design outputs into web templates
• Experience of AJAX / JQuery would be a bonus
• Linux Administration skills, have a working knowledge of configuring and running a LAMP stack
• Excellent spoken and written English skills

Work Environment:

• Must be comfortable working from your own location
• Must be self motivated and able to work to set deadlines
• Must be able to do what you think is best while problem solving
  
• Must have a proven record of results oriented programming
• Highly available, via IM, email, phone
• Vancouver and Canadian applicants prefered
