Taunton Drupal Migrations

Taunton has a series of websites for each of the publications that provide additional content and discussion forums. The sites were previously running on a custom content management system (CMS) that was built in .NET and PHP, and we converted each of them to use Drupal. The forums are also in the process of being migrated from a hosted forums service into the Drupal sites which are running on a multisite install.

The migration scripts that were used to move the sites into Drupal provided some interesting learning experiences, which you can read about further in a couple of our blog posts: "Code Optimization with Xdebug and KCachegrind" and "Migrate and Table Wizard for CSV migration in Drupal."
