Shawn Price

Shawn is a web developer specializing in Drupal, and a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology's Applied Web Development Associate Certificate program, where he studied web development and computer systems. Shawn takes the lead on some of our small to medium sized projects, doing development, theming, and project management. He also specializes in implementing the Apache Solr Search environment, which is used for scalable, enterprise level advanced search functionality.

Previously, Shawn had his own company doing PHP and custom CMS work. He enjoys involvement in all aspects of the development process. He has also volunteered with the Vancouver School Board as a mentor helping elementary school students learn to build websites. Shawn's interests include open source, emerging technologies, modern art, and social justice.
